School Inspections
Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills. Ofsted’s role is to make sure that organisations providing education, training and care services in England do so to a high standard for children and students.
The school was last visited by Ofsted in October 2017 and was judged 'Good'. Please see attached Ofsted Letter from the Inspector outlining the findings.
What is a SIAMS inspection? (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools)
Every 3-5 years, the school has a separate inspection to evaluate the distinctive Christian character and how this helps learners. SIAMS inspections focus on the effect that the Christian character of the school has on the learner.
The principal objective of the inspection is to evaluate the distinctiveness and effectiveness of the school as a church school so to ensure that learners’ academic, personal and spiritual needs are being met. To find out more about the school’s last SIAMS inspection, please refer to the SIAMS Report.
