Headteacher's Welcome
At Christ Church C of E Primary school, we believe that every child deserves a big future. Together, we aim to teach our children that they can achieve their very best in everything they do and that hard work, belief and determination are the keys to a happy and successful future.
Our community is welcoming, caring and diverse and we take great pride in our culture that believes in nurturing children through their early years of education. We welcome families of all faiths and those of no faith and we encourage one another to understand that diversity is to be celebrated both on our doorstep and beyond. Our school culture, ethos and ambition for every child are all firmly built on our chosen values that underpin our vision for the school.
We know that all children need to feel happy and safe both in and out of school and take pride in the manner in which we behave to one another. We look outwardly in our pursuit of continuous improvement and believe that collaboration with other schools, parents and providers will bring new opportunities for our children. We are continually building and refining our curriculum that must engage, interest and excite, whilst giving every child the knowledge, skills and understanding that will underpin their future choices in learning and life.
With an eye to the future we understand that we and our children live in a rapidly changing world, perhaps never more so than now. We embrace change for the better and challenge ourselves to create an excellent education for every child, while remembering to have fun along the way.

Reception 2025
We have now finished our Reception Tours for September 2025 reception intake. We hope you were able to visit us on one of these tours.
We look forward to welcoming our new Reception Children into school in September.
Spaces for current Year 1 to Year 6
Located in beautiful Clifton near Brunel’s Suspension Bridge, Bristol Zoo, the Downs, Museums and Clifton Village, the children of Christ Church CE Primary School benefit from a hugely rich curriculum and enjoy the nurturing school community which is evident from the first day of Reception to the last day in Year 6.
We do not currently have any space in our year 6 cohort.
