elcome to Christ Church C of E Primary School

We honestly believe that when your child starts at Christ Church School (be it in Reception or any other year up to Year 6), they will have the most amazing journey ahead of them

Please look at our curriculum pages and sports/arts/camps/trips pages to see the wide range of experiences your child will enjoy in our school

Please watch the video below to see what our Year 6 children have to say about their time here

What makes Christ Church stand out is that every single person in our school community is committed to nurturing our children and helping them to develop into well rounded individuals, ready for their next journey in life. This begins with a fantastic pastoral environment in the Early Years Foundation Stage and is built on throughout the school journey where older children are encouraged to look out for and encourage the younger members of the school.

Whilst delivering a broad academic curriculum that enables our children to attain excellent academic results and go on to the secondary school of their choice, we strongly believe in enriched learning at school.

We are a healthy school, providing nourishing lunches and encouraging every child to participate in our sporting provision both in school and as part of the after school programme of sports tournaments (click on sports links at top of page) and leagues that we are involved in.

We have excellent facilities and staff to enable an inspiring arts/music/drama programme, again both during the course of the school day and attending concerts and events at venues around the city. Every other year we participate in the Bristol Arts Trail and display for the community the amazing pottery, textile and fine art work produced by the children.

All academic teaching is supported by a range of trips and workshops both in school and around our amazing city and the development of life skills is enhanced in Years 5 & 6 through our residential camps.

We are lucky to be supported by an excellent wrap around care provision, who run a breakfast club, after school club (range of sporting and arts clubs) and holiday club.

If you are interested in seeing and hearing more about our school, please book onto one of our Reception tours, or for admissions into Years 1 to 6, please contact Becky Herbert on our school telephone number 0117 3772830 or email: [email protected]
