Year 3 - Science Bonanza

This week in year 3 has been a science bonanza! The children have been extremely focused and curious. We have been exploring light and shadow through many experiments. We wanted to discover what causes length of shadows to change. We used torches as a light source and measured in cm the length of shadow when changing the angle by 10 degrees each time. We collated the data and produced a bar graph! The children were so inspired that they wanted to go home and repeat the experiment at home to teach their families. Hopefully you've all learnt something too!
