Just a brief newsletter to keep in touch whilst we are not together. Pastor Ruthy has recorded an Easter message from her garden this is on Szapp Episode 8 released 10th April. Thank you for thinking of us Ruthy. Mr Campbell has done a fabulous job of creating ‘The Chronicle’ in SZapp. Do take a look; there is something ‘special’ coming next week, so keep checking!
The teachers have prepared another week of Easter learning ideas; these maybe found in the homelearning area of our school website. Enjoy! The staff team are thinking of you all and I would like to thank them for their positivity during difficult and anxious times over the last few weeks.
The blossom is out in our school playground and it looks beautiful in the sunshine, take a look if you are able to walk by when you are taking your daily exercise.
Last week I hoped to have time to paint some Daffodils inspired by David Hockney. However I got distracted by another project and created some bluebirds to go in my window with a rainbow. The rainbow has become the symbol of hope and support for the NHS and keyworkers whilst they help and care for those in need. Last year for our Easter Church service our theme was, ‘How do we care?’ We have put a link to our Easter Service 2019 on the home page of our school website in case you missed joining together at the Church this year.
We will have plenty of time to reflect upon how we care for others over this Easter period but try and show how you care for the people you are close to and people you can reach out to with an act of kindness or words of support.
NHS and key workers in our school community you are doing an amazing job and we send you a big thank you from us all.
Although we are in unusual times Happy Easter to you all and on behalf of the staff team we wish you and your families well. We miss you.
