NHS visual guide for parents/carers.
There are concerns that parents/carers and families are not seeking timely medical assistance when their child is ill or may be showing signs of Covid19. This has led to children and young people becoming seriously ill upon presentation and has negatively impacted on their recovery. The NHS has created a visual guide for parents to know what action to take if their children have symptoms – Please find attached to this email or click here.

We are happy to confirm that Shine will once again be running our Wraparound Care from September. Historically, Shine have organised after-school clubs into two sessions: 1) 3.15—4.45pm is an enrichment activity and then 4.45—5.55pm is snack and chill time. They are hoping to be able to replicate this in September, but are working on a logistical plan to ensure that social distancing can be maintained and all government guidelines are adhered to. Shine will look to run the majority of their clubs outside wherever possible. This provision will start on Monday 7th September and bookings will open week commencing August 3rd. Contact sports will not take place for the time being; instead, Shine will ensure that there are plenty of opportunities for children to get active and learn new skills whilst adhering to the guidelines. Breakfast clubs will also be running, from 7.45 – 8.45, with further information on how this will look to be distributed in due course.
