We have had lots of excitement in school this week an OFSTED visit and snow. As always we like to keep all plates spinning and we have had a most enjoyable week. Thank you for your kind words of support and encouragement, our staff team really value the strength this adds to our community. The children have been exceptional this week in their lessons and how they have calmly conducted themselves through the week. We are so proud of them.
OFSTED report
The outcome of the OFSTED inspection has to currently be kept strictly confidential by the Governors and Senior leadership team. OFSTED prepare a report which is shared with us in 30 days, so we may receive this after Easter but maybe before. I can say the inspection went as well as we could have hoped and we will look forward to sharing the report with you as soon as we are able to. Again, I would like to thank our staff, children, Governors and community for their incredible resilience and support this week.
Thank you to the parents/carers who attended the meetings with the class teachers. We hope you found these informative; we felt it was important to carry on with these as term 4 is whizzing by.
On Monday, we have a photographer in school to take some photographs for our own marketing as well as for Parentpay. Please complete the Google form if you give permission for your child’s photo to be taken and possibly used for these purposes.

Mission Cl.A.S.S
Despite a snowy Wednesday morning, our partner agents from Avon and Somerset Police were out on patrol. PC Burstow will be bringing us some useful road safety signs for our Super Agents to put outside school; along with our awesome road safety advert (https://youtu.be/udCueeUEaP4), these will continue to encourage our community to park further away from school, and walk the rest of the journey, with the ultimate aim of making our school street safer, with cleaner air for us all to breathe. Big thank you to the team at Avon and Somerset Police - it is so exciting to have you working with us.
Week 2 of VegPower brought a super trio of vegetables - pepper, carrot and peas. Our Reception chefs created a delicious pea hummuss with crunchy carrots and peppers on the side. They yet again used their ever-growing culinary skills - thank you to the Reception Team for all their hard work this week.
The Agency have created a third mission to work on - Mission Waste Nothing. Stay tuned for lots more news on this.
